Quick question as I have read all sorts of views on this before:
How long can bisufite-treated DNA be stored in -80C freezer before it degrades. Is there any reason why it should degrade quicker than untreated DNA??

Jon,
I resuspend my bisulfite treated DNA in fresh autoclaved TE buffer and store at -20C. I have stored such DNA upto 6 months with no detectable loss of DNA and by then I have used up my batch and I have to make another batch.
Hope this helps.

I agree with Nick. No problem for six months although some suggest no more than one month. -pcrman-
cheers!

Make sure you store in TE, rather than water. Bis treated DNA stored in water goes off quite fast. -Chris Harris-
