- Adjust pH to 7.8 - 8.0 with 1N NaOH
- Autoclave at 121°C for 15 min. at 15 lbs pressure, slow exhaust.
- Allow to cool for liquid medium, and bring to 50°C in a water bath for agar

- pH should be around 7.8-8.0
- Store at 4°C for one month or freeze for 3 months
- Aseptically dispense agar into petri dishes with a minimum depth of 4mm, store in sealed plastic bags at 4°C for 3 weeks.
