To import the AVI movie into PowerPoint:
Once you've opened your PowerPoint file, go to the Toolbar, look under Insert, then Movies and Sounds, then from File, and browse to your file.
Once you have imported the file, you are prompted to choose whether you'd like the file to start automatically or wait for user input. Save your file and preview.
